Selena Gomez has just dropped a new song and a music video, and I was actually impressed; she’s being real and vulnerable; which could be a mark in a great change for her, and in the modern pop music history in general.
“Lose You To Love Me”; what does it mean? and who is she speaking about? well, let me explain.
“Telescope“ by Cavetown is a song that’s so deep and meaningful; he talks about this feeling of being isolated and alone; we all can relate to that sometimes, some more than others; no matter how many people there are, you can feel the loneliness creeping in; and this song is about that.
Yungblud is hitting us in the feels with his new music video for his song “Hope For The Underrated Youth“. The song itself was emotional, but with this music video it got 100 times more emotional.
It’s about freedom of speech, being yourself, and trying to see a fix for the generations’ gap.
You’ll probably not guess what this song is actually about. I can tell you this; she HAS things to say; opening a topic and conversation; doing that with a cool interesting imagery; and then having a host of crazy lines throughout; and the music video compliments it all very well. Need I say more?
Dallon Weekes is not impressed by the famous LA scene; and he talks about it, and about social construct, social “guide”, and social climbers, and basically everything that’s social.
“ok ok?” is such a deep song, where Josh Taylor gets real about how he’s seeing fame and fast success, and how he’s dealing with it; and I explain this song and the music video; and I get a little bit vulnerable with you, guys.
NF has just released a music video for “Leave Me Alone“; and it is so good; there is a lot that’s going on in the music video, and a lot more to unwrap in the lyrics. He talks about OCD, therapy, fame, and so much more. So let’s talk about it.
NF has just released a music video for his song “Time”; and it’s beautiful. It’s about his wife, his mental health, love, and life; and of course, needing a bit of time.
Today we’ll see if “Parents“ is deep or just angry. I'm going to be honest; Yungblud creeps me out, because the guy always looks like he just wanna kill somebody…..
See what I did there?!
“The Water Fountain” is a really catchy song; it’s well-written; and it’s personal. And nothing makes me respect an artist more than when they get real and personal; and when they tell their stories in the form of good music.
I don't know if a lemon has ever made you cry before; but there is a good chance that it will, if you listened and watched the music video for “Green” by Cavetown. You want to know why? and what’s the story behind this lemon? Let me explain.
NF’s new song and music video “When I Grow Up'“ is so good you cannot listen to it, and we couldn’t not talk about it; we see NF as a cute little kid, a garbageman, a fast-food restaurant employee, and even a custodian. It’s an interesting song from a new perspective. So let’s talk about it.
half•alive has put out a song that made lots of us feel things, tear up, and do lots and lots of thinking about life. “Runaway” lyrics and music video are one of the best things that I’ve seen in a while; so let’s talk about it.
Let’s talk about Taylor Swift’s new song and music video “You Need To Calm Down”; because it has a lot of things to unpack here, haters, fans, pop stars, LGBTQIA+ movement, and more.
Twenty One Pilots just came out with their next single from Blurryface, “Tear in My Heart,” and it’s a departure for them. Few of their songs are quite this upbeat or positive musically, and the lyrics are interesting because, in them, Tyler uses fairly dark imagery to suggest a positive meaning. Overall, the song’s really something special, especially for Twenty One Pilots to be creating. I think you’re going to like it.
