Basic Entry

Community Entry

• Your lyrics will also be considered within the advanced lyrics category, so you have two chances to place

• Join a Facebook group of other lyric writers where you can keep posted from me on how the judging is going and can make new friends

Expanded Entry

Notes:

1. Any lyrics submitted will remain the property of the person who submitted them but may be featured in a video on the Pop Song Professor YouTube channel, on the Pop Song Professor website, or in future advertising for the Pop Song Professor or Lyric Hero contests.

2. While investing beyond the basic entry gives entrants two chances to place, a person may not place both categories. If one person’s lyrics are best in both categories, they will default to winning the advanced category.

3. All entries will be judged by the Pop Song Professor, Clifford Stumme, and possible other surprise judges. The judging will be based on originality, sound mechanics, and value of topic.
